.Net Developer
The Role
My Client is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with .NET Framework, SQL Server and enterprise web applications development. This role involves technical responsibility from a software development perspective for assisting and enhancing key applications that support critical business processes. The successful candidate is required to be flexible, quick-thinking and enjoy working under pressure.
Responsibilities of the .Net Developer Role:
• Comprehensive analysis and resolution of Production system issues
• Ownership of software application changes on implementation to Production systems
• Adhere to overall .NET standards
• Problem recurrence prevention by focusing on root cause analysis
• Ensure Production Support Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met
• Comprehensive documentation of changes applied and participation in knowledge transfers
• Coordinate with Business stakeholders and build and maintain key relationships
• Liaise with .NET Development to maximize throughput and minimize environment congestion
• Communicate with Technical Leads for solution alignment
• Identify potential alternatives to the requested approach.
Required Skills for the .Net Developer Role:
• A relevant 3rd level qualification
• 3+ years C# / .NET development experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of .NET Framework application stack including
• .NET Web Services / Web API
• ASP.NET MVC / Client Side: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• SQL Server / Entity Framework
• Understanding of software development standards, design patterns and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience for the .Net Developer Role:
• Application development with Microsoft .NET Core
• Practical knowledge of workflow management applications
• Experience with Insurance Underwriting applications, Insure/90 (I/90) would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
