Application Support Engineer - SQL/Windows

My client are a local company who are looking for a talented Application Support Engineer to join their expanding support team based in the south of Dublin.

You'll need to be an engineer with around 3-4 years application support experience, excellent troubleshooting skills and a good background in customer focused support. You'll be working closely with a number of enterprise customers as well as interacting daily with my client's development team.

You'll have to have previous experience working in a mission critical environment. Solving issues quickly and competently is of huge importance to the nature of my client's business so you'll need to be someone who thrives under pressure and is able to keep calm in difficult situations to deliver great results.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline.
* Excellent SQL skills.
* Strong troubleshooting skills of Windows Servers.
* Experience with SQL Server.
* Previous experience in a 24x7 mission critical environment.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
