Allstate Sales Group Inc. (ASG) is a provider of turnkey engineering and construction services to the telecommunications industry, today announced it is to establish software development and CAD support centres in Ireland, at locations in Waterford and Sligo, creating 200 new jobs over the three years. It is the company’s first operations outside the US.
As part of this growth, they will be hiring Software Developers (Microsoft stack) to join their team and to develop industry-leading software solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement new software programs
• Maintain and improve performance of existing software platforms
• Design and update software database
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimisation
• Recommend changes and improvements to existing software as needed
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in Software Development (C#, .Net, ASP.Net, Azure, SQL)
• 2+ years’ experience with JavaScript and web technologies (HTML, CSS)
• Experience with MS SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
• Able to understand projects from both client and business point of view
• Strong attention to detail.
