The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide first line technical support to staff and consultants. The IT Service desk Administrator will be responsible for user management in Active Directory, hardware and software installation and support, network troubleshooting and daily operational checks and security audits. The role will contribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide systems that support organisation decision-making and planning

The IT department provides support across the entire hospital and this role is important in making a significant contribution, developing and maintaining best practice in IT and enterprise-wide systems management and information. This includes the provision of policies, procedures, ensuring the highest level of safety and regulatory compliance, delivering the highest level of customer service and project management.

The Person
The successful candiate will have the following qualifications and skills

  • Network+, A+, MCP or relevant certification
    Minimum of 1-2 years IT Support experience
  • Active Directory knowledge
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Team player
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately assess and report problems
  • Creativity and problem solving capability
  • Respond well to change and maintain flexibility while keeping focus on objectives
  • Ability to interact with vendors as required.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
