DevOps Engineer - Dublin CC

My client are an established FinTech company looking to expand their Dublin city centre base with the hiring of a Junior DevOps engineer to work alongside two other DevOps engineers and maintain their AWS environment.

If you're currently in a junior DevOps role getting some good AWS exposure but just don't see long term progression in the role then this is definitely something you should find out more about. You'll work with 2 highly skilled senior engineers who are happy to provide support and training for you and help you grow within their organisation. It is rare that the company would go out and hire senior staff, they prefer to bring people in early and help them to grow and become an integral part of the operations team.

You'll need good Linux and AWS skills and ideally have spent the early part of your career working in a 24x7x365 production environment. Experience working as part of an on-call rota would also be desirable.

My client work with the latest technology on the market as Fintech always moves as fast as any industry and they need to be keeping up to speed. They have an agile development environment and offer excellent training and a clear progression path from day 1.

Skills/Experience Required:

* 2+ years experience in Operations or DevOps Engineer role.
* Strong knowledge around AWS.
* Good scripting skills in Bash/Pyton.
* Excellent Linux/Unix knowledge.
* Hands on expsure to Jenkins is highly desirable.
* An understanding of Elasticsearch would be a real bonus.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
