The Technical Project Manager will have an understanding of engineering project management concepts, practices, and methods. The Technical Project Manager will also have experience with embedded systems, audio engineering and/or audio systems architecture across one or more platforms. As the Technical Project Manager you will work with global teams and be responsible for:
* Translate customer and product requirements into a work breakdown structure and sprints
* Utilise agile, waterfall and different software methodologies to deliver on projects
* Manage and control risks and change control
* Manage complexity and stakeholder management
* Support the team and facilitate team meetings
* Provide product showcases and coordinate activities
* Participate in software development life-cycle
* Train and mentor teams
Education, Knowledge and Skills
* Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
* Have over 5 year's experience in software engineering with 2 years plus in project management
* Experience in scrum
* Deep understanding of development pipelines: continuous integration, automated testing, customer delivery
* Embedded software development experience or exposure
* Quality Assurance
* Experience of different approaches (this can come from different industries, variety of roles, or different PM styles they've been exposed to)
* Have knowledge and experience with software development life-cycle methodologies including Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall etc.
* Experience with a programming or scripting language such as Java, Javascript, C, C++, Python, Unix Shell, Visual Basic
* Have experience with an Altassian tool eg. JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins
* Certified Scrum Master
* Hold a project management certification and be able to work with globally distributed team.
