Software Test Team Lead

Job Description Summary

Our client, based in Limerick, is looking for a talented Software Test Team Lead with a passion for testing to work in Diagnostic Systems.

Be the Software Test Team Lead:

Manage the work delivery - the schedule and resource availability (both people and instruments) - for testing of medical instrument functionality after OS updates

Conduct testing - identify, analyse and document software defects

Drive test automation and the improvements to the test process

Adhere to the quality policy and fulfil documentation requirements

Manage multiple stakeholder relationships

Work closely with software developers to understand products and to resolve issues

Report project progress

Be Qualified:

Degree in Computer Science or related field

10+ years in software testing, including writing test plans and test scenarios, test execution, test environment management

Test automation

Project management - minimum 3 years, MS Project, risk management

People management - minimum 3 years

Knowledge of Windows operating system, scripting and SQL

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to haves:

Experience working in the medical device industry

Experience working with TFS and Microsoft VS for Testers

Instrument testing
