QA SENIOR SOFTWARE TESTER (CONTRACT)

Job Description

My client is offering you the chance to work as a QA tester based in Dublin on a 6 month contract.You will be working for a reputable firm with excellent opportunities for career progression.

What you need for this position

* 3+ years' experience in QA
* Strong experience is using SQL
* Strong knowledge of the waterfall and agile methodology
* Experience with JIRA
* Ability to work independently but also as part of a team

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the test system is compliant with the specification. You will ensure that there is a clear understanding of each project. You will work with other departments and managers to ensure projects are completed in the specific timescale. You will contribute to the maintenance of the best practises for the test projects. You will also provide feedback on sign offs by the business (UAT) before the project release.

You will be expecting to be able to work independently and be able to come up with your own ideas and use your initiative when working on projects. As well as this you will be required to work with other departments and managers.
