Here at GemPool we are currently recruiting for a Java developer position Based in the heart of Dublin city centre. Our client is in the financial industry and offering an excellent oppertunity to gain more knowledge working with new technology in a high paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 5 years experierence in designing and developing web based applications. Our client is looking for an experienced Java developer to join their team, being able to solve complex technical problems to deliver new product features and to show technical leadership in a developing team. You always promote and contribute to quality in the development process with a focus on providing efficient and clean work.
This is contract position
Responsibilities:
· Bug fixing, unit testing and functional testing
- Working with Java technologies
- Designing and developing restful services
- Taking ownership of your work from story to production
- Help maintain high quality
Key Skills:
· Excellent knowledge of Java Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
· Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
· Good interpersonal skills
· Excellent verbal and written skills
- Past experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with microservices
