Our client in Dublin in City Centre are currently seeking to appoint an Application Support Analyst to join their organisation. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be working closely with the ICT Manager and assisting in the delivery of Strategic and Operational programmes.
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the development of reports, outputs and queries that arise from the business intelligence team. The Application Support Analyst will ensure that all applications used within the organisation are managed, maintained and secured.
As an Application Support Analyst you will be an excellent people person, strong problem solver and someone that strives for excellence.
Application Support Analyst Qualifications and Experience:
o Good technical design and development skills with a solid understanding of Object Oriented design principles
o Practical experience with the following specific technologies:
o Entity Framework, .Net Framework 3.5+
o SQL Server, SSRS & SSIS, Power BI experience
o HTML/Javascript/CSS
o SharePoint 2013+Administration
o Office365/SharePoint Online
o Good understanding of Microsoft and .NET based applications development
o Demonstrated problem solving skills
o Good understanding of SDLC phases and familiarity with continuous integration and test automation tools
o Ability to work intuitively, alone or as part of a team
o Good client/customer service skills
o Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise, plan and multitask work assignments
o A positive attitude and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
o Demonstrated willingness to develop ICT skills and knowledge
o Task ownership and ability to work within deadlines/timelines
o Ability to provide support to technical and non-technical staff
Application Support Analyst Nice Too Have:
* Working towards or achieved a third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering
* Excellent working knowledge of releases, implementation & support
* Practical experience with the following specific technologies: Biztalk, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Visual Studio, TFS
