Our Client, a leader in IT Security in Cork, is currently building out a German speaking Technical Support team. There are currently 5 roles open, and this team will double in size rapidly.
The ideal candidate will have strong German language skills, native or near native, should have very strong customer skills and a good technical acumen to support Network related issues on a daily basis.
You will troubleshoot TCP/IP issues, access related issues, Firewalls, VPN issues and wireless network issues. You will work with a pool of end users, and aim to resolve 5-7 technical issues per day (so not very high volume). While you will work in a phone/ticketing system environment, this is NOT a call centre. Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers required.
Key requirements:
* In depth experience of configuration and troubleshooting network related issues
* Understanding of TCP/IP networks to troubleshoot issues
* Experience in configuration of Firewalls
* General understanding of VPN protocols
* Experience in Wireless networks
GERMAN LANGUAGE SKILLS ESSENTIAL
CCNA certification desired, and a major advantage
Stamp 4 OR EU Passport required
