The client is a leading retail group headquartered in Dublin but with multiple sites across Ireland. They are in aquisition mode at present which includes the expansion of their IT department and are seeking to appoint a software developer.

The successful candidate will be based in their Dublin head office with occasional trips to their ancillary sites. 

The role reports to the Group IT Director and will mainly be involved in Supporting and developing various group software requirements including the group’s in-house integrated business trading software.

You will support various business software applications including EPOS and provide software solutions to meet management requirements. In addition you will have a role in both training and supporting end-users within the group, and producing support documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years Business Application Software support experience with VB.Net, database skills, SQL and any exposure to Crystal report writing would be great.
