My client is currently on the lookout for a System Administrator to join their team. My client has been providing services in Ireland for over 40 years, they are also one of Europe’s most recognisable financial institutions. They have 1000+ employees in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford and Kildare.

Summary of the Position:
• System admin with linux with planned projects for Docker and Cooper? Also, exposure to the other parts of the role like windows.
• Project work, general sys admin support, HP UNIX, solari, red hat.
• Can move up to senior admin, team lead /manager.
• Immediate Objectives are Automation and Playbooks.

Required Skills & Experiences for the System Administration Role:
• Banking is beneficial, experience working in large scale environment essential.
• Good people skills, passionate about growing their skills and career development, flexible, can work alone.
• Self-motivated, doesn’t need to be micro managed, problem solver, mature.
• NSF and Virtualisation experience beneficial, understanding VMware + windows aswell as the rest of the requirements on the spec.

Required Qualification for the System Administration Role:
• 3rd level technical degree.
