Data Warehouse Architect

About this role

My Limerick based client prides itself as being a key player in their sector. By providing the technology and the platform for what is normally operated by larger organisations they have disrupted their sector and as such has gained over 33% of the global market. Due to continued success, there are looking to recruit a data warehouse architect. This role will have responsibility for the data that is used by all of my clients' applications. This role will work with internal business stakeholders and the technical data team to identify and prioritize data-related business opportunities and break these down into deliverable pieces

Role and responsibilities:

* Develop and design the data roadmap strategy for the organisation
* Futureproof their data strategy
* Establish processes and procedures around data integrity
* Foster an understanding of data prioritization within the organisation.

Skills required:

* Demonstrated Architect experience in an agile/scrum environment
* A degree in computer science or other technical background
* Strong exposure in working within a data focused development team
* Strong proficiency at querying and architecting relational databases, experience with data warehouse systems and large-scale data migrations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent stakeholder management experience.
