Description
We are looking for an Android or iOS developer to join our team and help build an application that consumers use as part of their daily routine to keep up with the latest in journalism. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in shaping our mobile products, through the implementation of new features, optimising performance and building slick user interfaces.

Responsibilities of the Android / iOS Developer Role:
• Work as part of the team to discover the best features for our mobile products.
• Develop and maintain these features, adhering to best practices.
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability and reliability.
• Ensure that all features are well-tested across a wide range of mobile devices.

Required Experience and Skills for the Android / iOS Developer Role:
• Passion to be involved in a fast-paced start-up environment, where you can heavily influence the direction of our products.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in developing Android or iOS applications.
• Strong knowledge of the Android or iOS development framework (or both!).
• Good understanding of Git version control.
• Experience working with an Agile software process.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
