We are looking for a Devops Engineer to join our exciting high growth company. Responsibilities of the Devops Engineer Role:
• Automate everything.
• Support the rest of the engineering team in growing and maintaining the Infrastructure as code / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
• Work closely with developers to guide and help solve problems.
• Monitoring of cloud environments.
• Design, implementation and maintenance of cloud environments
• Patch management of images and VMs Application of configuration changes.
• Contribute keeping the documentation of the platform alive and up to date with text and diagrams.
• Propose improvements and be able to implement them.
• Work with our teams to maintain SLOs / SLAs and define SLIs.
Requirements for the Devops Engineer Role:
• BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in systems scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
• Exposure to managing cloud platforms, AWS / GCE / Azure (ideally AWS)
• Windows Server and Linux (AWS Linux and Ubuntu)
• Strong knowledge of network protocols at different levels (IP, HTTP, DNS, etc)
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Familiarity with the stack in use is an advantage (.NET, Packer, Terraform, AppVeyor, Vault)
• Conscious of the best practises with regards to security.
