IT Helpdesk Technician
About this role
My client is seeking an experienced It helpdesk technician to join them on a 3 month contract. This role would suit someone who has worked in a busy environment, has strong IT helpdesk, Desktop support, or IT Administration experience and is available to start a role immediately. You'll enjoy a great daily rate coupled with working on site in a well-known interesting technology company.
Role and responsibilities:
* You'll provide support, maintain and improve the client's IT services.
* You'll work with all users throughout the organisation to resolve IT issues.
* You'll be an excellent communicator and have an eye for detail.
* You'll proactively fix issues before they create larger issues.
Skills required:
* MS Qualification would be desirable
* Strong Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 , Mac OS High Sierra and Mojave
* Microsoft Office 2013 - 2016 exposure
* Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD exposure
* Office 365 enterprise suite exposure
* Experience with various types of desktop hardware (Lenovo, Dell, Apple)
* Network printing
* Structured cabling
* A solid understanding of network connectivity and how it pertains to end user computing
* Experience with firewalls is an advantage
