We're looking for an IT Systems Engineer for a varied role with a leading provider of laboratory / GxP technology. The successful IT Systems Engineer will support disparate teams on multiple nationwide projects and can be based in Cork or Dublin.
You will need strong IT skills in networking and SQL plus some experience supporting the integration of third party software with existing infrastructure. Experience in pharma, healthcare or medical device sectors and knowledge of LIMS a distinct advantage although training will be provided.

What will you do?
- Assist in the installation, implementation and configuration of a wide range of Laboratory and Industrial software products.
- Liaise with external vendors and internal team in support of issue resolution
- Liaise with customers to troubleshoot their technical issues
- Travel to client sites to support Installation teams
- Be the SME for IT Infrastructure (networks, Windows Server, virtual environments) to support installation teams
- Discuss business requirements with clients to tailor system functionality
You should have experience in the following…
- IT Support - Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, Field Engineer
- LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
- Windows Server
- IT Networking (LAN/WAN, Firewalls)
- Pharma, Medical Device, Healthcare, GxP sector an advantage
- Full clean Driver's License
- Be available for 50% travel to client sites
