A Cork-based start up who have recently merged with a large European real-time data analytics software company are looking to hire a driven and focussed Software Engineer to join their team.


Role:

• As a software developer, you will contribute to the development and design effort on a variety of projects in a highly innovative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
• Design, development, maintenance, and testing of our software services, which involves coding in C# / HTML / CSS / JavaScript, and using cloud services in Azure.
• Provide technical support where required
• Communicate with clients, take ownership and resolve issues.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of minimum software development experience with C# .NET Framework.
• Good understanding of writing SQL queries, stored procedures/TSQL on SQL Server.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS, Angular or React.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with MVC and WebAPI and Entity Framework.
