IT Security Analyst

My client based in Cork requires an IT security analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

* Cork
* 6 Month Contract

Role

* Review databases for compliance and providing recommendations for improvement
* Collaborate with architects and admins in regards to IT security policies and strategy
* Address potential vulnerabilities introudced by new versions or technologies
* Carry out risk assessments, audits and vulnerability scans
* Identify the root cause of security incidents and implement solutions as part of the incident response team
* Maintain expertise on security trends

Requirements

* 3rd level technical degree
* Database and security certs preferred
* 3+ years experience in a similar security oriented environment
* Ability to identify, analyse and report on database security issues
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
