Role: Solution Architect Location: Dublin Salary: €75-90k Permanent position We are looking for an Applications Architect ready to make the step into a Lead role for a leading Managed Services company onsite with a major customer. You will be based on site working closely with the customer to deliver App Support in a customer service and billing system along with overseeing the delivery of multiple CRs and projects. Skills Essential For the role there is no hands Software Development on this account for this role. However, the role requires strong experience of application architecture, and software development management. It's a Java Environment so knowledge of Java Application Development will be essential. Applications Solution Architect Responsibilities include: * Build Technical Understanding of Complex Application Landscape * Technical Lead for Remote Application * Engage with Customers technical teams to support Incident Resolution and Delivery. * Governance of the Applications Support and Development function processes and tools. * Manage customer requirements and produce project proposals. * Assess the technical impact of proposed projects across the customer estate. * Assess the effort of proposed projects and work with suppliers and offshore teams to develop technical implementation plans for delivery. * Produce and/or validate solution designs. There are some operational Responsibilities * Create change specifications for project delivery tasks. * Participate in the change management board and act as change authority. * Provide a technical point of escalation for delivery teams when required. * Troubleshooting & technical assessment for incident and project issue resolution. * Participate and advise in problem resolution processes. * Provide final Technical Quality Assurance and Service Readiness on application changes This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading brand within their Managed Service department.
