Senior Java Developer (Hybris – Spring) – Dublin

My client is a leading Hybris eCommerce implementation specialist with significant clients across Europe and beyond. They have engaged IT Search to speak to experienced (and preferably Certified) Hybris Developers with at least 3 years of Java (Spring, Eclipse IDE) development and two solid recent years of experience on the Hybris platform, a broader experience is ideal but specialisms (front end etc) will be considered.

If you are looking to join a company that is growing fast and will give considerable training and client facing experience (as well as significant exposure to the Hybris ecosystem) and are happy to be based on client sites across Europe for brief stints, this could be the role for you.

Technical Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates should have at least three years of hands on, post grad experience in Java/J2EE Web based development, but importantly have comfort in working within the Spring framework (MVC, Security etc).

As you will be joining a team of highly experienced developers and will be working closely with client teams to develop their Hybris systems, it is vital that you are capable of making decisions on your own initiative.

Ideal Skills

·      Hybris experience

·      Java, Spring Framework (Core)

·      Web development with Spring MVC, JSP & JSTL, SOAP & RESTful web-services

·      SOA, Spring Security, JUnit/Mocking/Log4J etc., JavaScript/jQuery, some CSS, DBs/SQL, XML marshalling/JAXB

·      Solid understanding of HTTP (request methods, headers, cookies, error codes, redirects and forwards etc.)

·      Agile/Scrum project methodology

Advantageous 

Experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) tools, Solr, Google Analytics, SEO, Linux, Media systems (e.g. Adobe CQ7), Mobile/App development skills, Google maps, JMS (Java Messaging Service), Selenium front-end testing, payment service provider integration experience.
