The Data Analyst will analyse retail data for translation into key business insights for retailers. The Data Analyst will articulate technical requirements and work in a client facing position between retailers and the business. This role of Data Analyst provides the platform for further process improvement and interaction with regional clients particularly in Germany. Key for this role is the ability to communicate fluently and idiomatically in German.
To be effective in the role they require:
* A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
* Over 5 years experience in data analysis or business analysis
* Exposure to supply chain or point-of-sales (POS) data
* Have strong analytical and communication skills
* Have worked on multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
* Be fluent in German and English
* Be passionate about collaboration and team work
As Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
* Articulate the technical requirements internally and externally
* Lead and/or support the issue detailed investigation, risk / impact analysis
* Analyse the retailer's raw data
* Be the main technical point of contact for retailers
* Educate all retailers end to end technical on-boarding process and drive the technical on-boarding calls
* Strengthen retailer partnership and enhance collaboration
* Ensure compliance requirements and timely deadlines are met for on-boarding new retailers
* Partner with retailers with a strong sense of urgency on requests and issues while adhering to time sensitive outcomes
* Ensure proper communication and hand-off procedures to Operations and other teams are adhered to
* Translate data results into meaningful summaries to support business decisions
* Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for department
