Our Client is a large Company based in the City Centre and its IT department supports 800 staff located in Dublin, Belfast, London and US.
Application Support Engineer - Summary:
- You will be working alongside the IT Development and Application Support team.
- This will provide the right individual with good opportunities to grow and develop this function
- The role will also give excellent exposure to the latest Cloud and BI technologies
What’s involved:
- Maintain, support, change management, system performance and capacity management
- Manage and deliver projects for migration, upgrades, integration and maintenance
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party consultancies to ensure work has been done to a high level
- Be the technical lead for a wide range of system implementations
- Assisting users with system requirement definitions
What you need:
- 5+ years’ in an Application Support role
- Technical Lead experience on system implementations
- Strong experience with SQL Servers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
