realTime have a new requirement for an experienced SAP Basis candidate in Dublin.
You will provide 1st and 2nd level support to the business applications team, including patching, upgrades and installations where required. You will also be responsible for various technical aspects in SAP like DDIC, PI, Data Services, Web Dynpro and upcoming projects will require analysis for S4 readiness, and any experience with SAP HANA is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities – SAP Basis:
• To define and agree deliverables and timelines to ensure they are fit for purpose in line with the full project plans
• To work with the Business Application team functional analysts to manage any proposed changes or enhancements to agreed scope and in order to meet all requirements
• To produce documentation, technical specifications in support of the Company IT teams and partners as part of the annual maintenance planning.
• To work with other IT Global teams to manage the requirements relating to interfaces with other systems.
• Work effectively with the wider team of stakeholders to ensure a fully integrated system is managed.
• Manage vendors to ensure targets and deliverables are met
Experienced in the following is ideal:
• Client Admin
• Performance monitoring and analysis
• Spool Admin
• Transport Release Management
• Apply Support Patches
• SAP Solution Manager – maintenance and admin
• Support of BI HANA environment
• System Refreshes and database admin/migration
Skills required:
• Excellent experience of SAP Basis administration and experience in BW/BI, PI/PO, workflows and portal administration
• Solid experience in a SAP Basis role covering support, maintenance and upgrading a large size SAP environment
• Routine SAP Basis administration and database administration as described above
• Experience of SAP upgrades, archiving, business warehouse (HANA), workflow administration, integration with latest cloud connector,
• Installation and Configuration of Solution Manager
• SAP Netweaver Administration
