Junior Data Scientist - Sligo
My client, an exciting healthcare research company, are currently seeking to expand their team with a Junior Data Scientist. You will be part of an award-winning team and take part in cutting edge research. You will also learn from some of the best Data Scientists in the field. There is constant investment in new technologies so you will always be ahead of the game. You will also receive full training and have the chance to up skill in many of the latest Data Science tools.

You will be reporting to the head of R&D and have a direct impact on the direction of the company research.
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will bring the following skills:
* SQL, Python or R
* Some experience with Machine Learning.
* You should have experience with predictive modelling.
* Experience in Advanced Business Intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau or SAS.
* Curiosity - Perhaps most importantly in this Junior Data Scientist role will be an inquisitive mindset.
* Teamwork - you must work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with various teams throughout the business.
The role day to day:
* To directly support business critical initiatives and facilitate their successful initiation, delivery and implementation.
* To develop and maintain reporting for major change programs, individual projects, and support the Program and Project Managers by providing high quality outputs.
* To produce MI for Program Groups to agreed time and quality standards. To apply pragmatic governance within an agreed framework.
Qualifications/ Other Knowledge:
* BSc/ diploma or equivalent in mathematics
* MSc in Data Science/ Business Analytics
* Recognised qualifications in the specified programming languages
* Proven experience in research
