Our client is a multinational IT company, with significant operations across Ireland.

Right now, they require a Solution Support Engineer with good Mid-Range Server skills with solid experience dealing with Breakfix/Installs/Consultancy work.

This role will suit a Senior Server Support Engineer who is interested in a mobile role working across multiple client sites in the Greater Dublin area.

Required Experience:

* This role requires a broad range of technical knowledge to support high risk critical systems (sometimes of high complexity).
* Suitable applicants will have plenty of server hardware support experience, particularly on DELL and HPE Servers (including ProLiant's, Blades, Storage (3par etc.))
* Ability to manage and respond to Incident / Support tickets in a timely, professional manner.
* Experience of technical support, including deployment and cabling.
* Networking, Hyper-V, SQL etc.
* Ability to work independently and drive activity in large accounts while coordinating resources to achieve objectives.
* Familiar with Data center operations environment (ideal, but not essential).
* Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues on Windows and Linux operating systems (Physical and virtual).
* Professional certification within a technical discipline (CCNA, MCSA, MCSE etc.)
* An understanding of engagement in a process-oriented organization.
* Capable of managing escalations, communicate effectively and resolve issues (closing tickets) in a fast-past environment.

Again, this is a Mobile role covering clients in the Greater Dublin area.

Applicants MUST be willing to be on standby for out of hours support (up to 1 week in 4).
