Cloud Security Analyst

My client based in Dublin requires a cloud security analyst to join their cloud team in Dublin on a contract basis. The role will manage vulnerability reporting within the company's cloud business.

* 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities

* Triage security issues on a daily basis (software, systems, infrastructure)
* Investigate breaches and incidents
* Monitoring of security dashboards
* Report generation to teams to act on security issues
* Create security tasks from different programs
* Work closely with engineering teams to fix bugs
* Use data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements
* Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
* Document security breaches and assess damage
* Perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities

Requirements

* 3rd level computer science degree or equivalent experience
* Understanding of security principles
* Experience in infrastructure technologies, sys admin, vulnerability management and/or network security
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with security tools (Nessus, Nexpose etc)
* Experience with query languages and data visualisation (i.e. pyton, tableau)
