Incident Security Analyst

My client is a large financial services company that is based in Dublin. They require an experienced incident security analyst to join their tech security operations team on a contract basis. They handle a range of different security services including threat intelligence, vulnerability assessments, security monitoring and security incident response.

* Dublin City Centre
* 4 Month Contract

Role

* Deliver security to the group at a high standard and in a consistent manner in line with policies
* Be an escalation point for the monitoring team incident handlers
* Present to senior management on security incidents
* 24/7 on call service
* Identify any current or expected gaps and work with management to address these
* Aid the evaluation and implementation of security tooling
* Develop relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

* Relevant 3rd level degree
* Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, GCIH etc
* Technical qualifications such as MCSE, CCNP GCWN

Skills and Experience

* Experience in an IT security incident response of Security operations team
* Experience with SIEM technologies
* Technical knowledge of IT systems and controls
* Knowledge of malware analysis, programming languages and cloud security issues
