Oracle PL/SQL Developer
itContracting are pleased to be partnering with our client, a market leader in merchant services, in the hiring of an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join their Database Development team at their South Dublin HQ.
You will be working on the development of next generation financial and reporting platforms and applications which will be rolled out globally. Your role will involve working with the business to deliver on key business requirements and needs and provide development expertise and guidance.
Experience
* You will ideally be degree or equivalent educated in a Technical discipline, preferably in Software Development or Engineering with deep expertise in Database Development
* At least 5 years in a hands-on, commercial PL/SQL and SQL Development position
* Working knowledge and experience with Oracle Forms
* Experience with Oracle Performance Tuning
* Strong experience in Software Development Lifecycle, Agile practices and Version Control
* Knowledge of Data Modelling
* Experience of Financial Regulatory frameworks and Regulatory Reporting would be beneficial
* Ability to lead projects from concept to delivery
* Good software and infrastructure architecture awareness
* Preferably certified in Oracle technologies
