Enterprise People are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer for a leading Cork based client. Reporting to the Applications Manager, the Mainframe Developer will work with the Development team lead (s) and Business Analysts to understand technical requirements and contribute to solutions. 

The Mainframe Developer will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete technical analysis to aid in the production of Functional Specifications

• Review Functional Specifications / Business Requirements

• Unit test all code

• Prepare code for release to live environment

• Establish good working relationships with the business and other teams within Group IT

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A 3rd Level Qualification

• 2+ Years’ Mainframe Development experience

• Good Cobol or EAE experience

• Ability to learn and understand complex business processes

• Good PC skills

• Good analysis and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
