Role: Senior Technical Consultant
Salary: €43 to €48k depending on level / experience.
Benefits: Fully expensed company vehicle, phone & laptop / Fixed rate expenses (after 1-yr) / Up-to-10% of gross salary as bonus (after probation period).
Location: 1 to 3 days per week onsite with large clients in Dublin / ½ day to 1 day per week onsite with large client in Athlone. Remaining time will be spent in our Roscommon office or onsite with other large clients in technical / pre-sales roles as required.
Hours: 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Occasional (paid or time-in-lieu).
Holidays: 20-days per annum.
Probation period: 6-months.

Person:
Must have 5-yrs minimum experience in similar role looking for a progressive career move to a dynamic and growing company. Excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate.
Must have worked in role before that involved spending time on client’s sites.
Must have previous project and team management experience.
Must be a “people-person” capable of conversing with our client’s senior management teams in plain English.
Must be self-starter and capable of working on their own initiative.
Must enjoy working as part of a team is a busy work environment.
Must have excellent diagnostic & troubleshooting ability.
Must have good telephone manner and strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Must have experience of working with call / ticket logging systems.
Must have fluent English and relevant work permits for EU.
Full clean driving license.
Skills:
Microsoft Operating Systems 2008R2 to 2016 ADDS, DHCP, DNS configuration.
VMware 5.5 and above with knowledge of vCentre.
Hyper-V and failover clustering.
Enterprise storage (preferably Dell).
Networking, VLANs, VPNs.
Strong with cloud technologies (Office 365 / Azure in particular).
Strong MS-SQL / Exchange / RDS knowledge.
Strong Microsoft desktop OS.
Strong with desktop applications (Office / anti-virus etc.).
Strong knowledge of remote access systems.
Familiarity with Linux OS an advantage.
