IT Support Engineer - Remote
I'm currently working with a highly successful local managed service company who are looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to their team.
The successful candidate will focus on the day to day support of their Clients IT requirements to ensure a rapid response to any issues and requests. They will need to communicate clearly and be adept in building strong customer relationships. Experience working with 3rd party vendors is a big plus as they will need to work with outside agents on some hardware and software issues.
The big selling point of this role is the work from home flexibility. You will need to be based in Ireland, but the role is entirely work from home. My client are really pushing the benefits of a positive work life balance and helping their employees cut down on the hassle of the daily commute is a great way to start!
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or engineering related discipline.
* 2-3 years experience in an IT Support/Level 2 Helpdesk role.
* Strong hands on experience support Office 365 and SharePoint.
* Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience working in a fast paced environment on a busy Helpdesk.
* Managed Services background is a big positive.
* Passion for technology and a desire to train and learn new skills every day.
* Previous experience of working remotely would be preferable.
