Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They’re now looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to join their team in Crumlin.

As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be tasked with the management and development of our client’s IT network and server infrastructure as well as internet circuits and back-ups.
You’ll take ownership of the server hardware and networking equipment, virtual environments, server software, email systems and Windows domain services. Our client works with VMware, HyperV And SAN storage, Windows/Linux servers and Exchange/Office 365 infrastructure.
Providing 2nd and 3rd line operational support for infrastructure service issues, you will maintain your knowledge of security standards and best practice, and work with internal staff and external parties on all aspects of server farms and LAN/WAN environments.
As part of your role, you will travel between UK sites to support the business on a day-to-day basis.
Interested? To be considered as an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will need:
- To be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a computer-related discipline or have at least three years’ experience in a similar infrastructure management role
- Experience of working in an infrastructure / network role within a large organisation
- Experience in SAN Technology, such as HP, EqualLogic or Compellent, and VMWare
- Experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of Windows Server domains
- Experience of managing a team
- A CCNA and/or CCNP qualification
- A valid driving licence
Dedicated, driven and inventive, as the IT Infrastructure Manager, you’ll need excellent communication and team working skills as well as a focus on problem solving and a close attention to detail.
