Our client for an experienced Web Developer for a 6 month Full-Time Contract period with the view to full-time employment upon agreement from both parties.

What will I be doing?

* Support internal teams with enhancing website functionality (i.e., SEO, analytics, localization, real-time personalization, A/B testing, Domain Mapping, etc.)
* Responsible for the design and coding, including graphics, animation and functionality (eg. categories / menu / website architecture).
* Writing clean, well-commented, secure and maintainable code in an agile environment.
* Executing all visual design stages from concept to build, to final go-live html webpages.
* Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing visitor statistics for all web campaigns.
* Continuously seek to improve the usability and performance of the website (eg. Webpage loading speeds, bounce rate, mobile first etc)
* Collaborate to manage all web change requests, updates, and additions; Including developing new pages, templates, sections, graphics as needed, to support interactive content.
* Redesign of WooCommerce shop (Back-end and Front-end).
* Integration with third party tools / plugins.
* Working in (Back-End Development - PHP, SQL, JavaScript), (Front-End Development - HTML5, JavaScript, HTML, jquery).

We are looking for someone with

* 3+ years of professional web development experience.
* 3+ years development experience with WordPress (Front-End & Back-End).
* Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
* Proficient with debugging testing tools for the following: (User testing / Device testing / Cross-Browser testing / Functionality testing)
* Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
* Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
* Support internal teams with enhancing website functionality (i.e., SEO, analytics, localization, real-time personalization, A/B testing, etc.)
* Plugin development/upgrading (Use of de facto plugins).
* Good knowledge of on-site SEO (Meta Tags etc).
* Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
* Knowledge/awareness of the security aspect of websites is important (ie. SSL Certs).
* Proficient experience in using GIT tools an advantage.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
