Reporting to the Head of Development, the PHP Developer, will be responsible for developing and supporting web applications in PHP, JavaScript and other technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver "big idea" technical enhancements, manage a wide range of external technology suppliers, work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and troubleshoot queries and support applications.

What will I be doing?

* Advanced level PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS essential
* Experience in Laravel, Vue.js, Angular
* Experience in web-based application development
* Experience working with and writing APIs
* Experience in application security development, version control, bug tracking and web standards
* Excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to interact with business users and IT colleagues

What do I need?

* BSc in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
* Experience developing a public facing Web site on both desktop or mobille is essential to this role
* 3 years minimum experience with HTML and CSS
* 2 years minimum Web programming experience, including PHP and JavaScript
* 2 years minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.
