IT Support Engineer – Level 2
Purpose:
The role is to provide IT support to PFH'S Belfast Client base, This involves the provision and management of IT hardware and the delivery of IT support agreed service levels. This work will include the recording, diagnosing, monitoring and resolving of request and problems using a call management system to provide a high level audit trail for each task.
The strategy for IT Support is to adopt a first-time resolution approach from call placement to call resolution.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.

Technical Skills: Active Directory, Exchange, Support, Desktop support
- Desktop Support- supporting, troubleshooting
- Desktop & Remote Admin- Administering
- Email Management- Setting up users, distribution lists etc, MS Exchange 2010
- AD – Windows Server 2008- Administering, understanding of group policy etc.
- Anti-Virus- Monitoring, Deploying, Troubleshooting
- Network Support- Patching, understanding of VLAN
- Hardware Support- PC & Printing, Hardware Support
Experience:
- 3+ years in a desktop support or Helpdesk role
- Experience of the above technical skills
- Strong Customer Focus.
Education
- Third level IT Qualification
- Certifications Completed:
- Microsoft Certified Professional Windows 7/10
