Senior Software Engineer

An amazing opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global retail company. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team, based in Dublin North.

What you will do:

·         Produce high-quality code and offer high-quality software services

·         Demonstrate and communicate technical best practices with the team

·         Be innovative in delivering results

·         Be willing to take risks and challenge the status quo

·         Delivering projects and providing suggestions to various tech conferences

What you need:

·         At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role

·         Experience with SQL, related databases as well as NoSQL databases

·         Familiarity with Java or Scala

·         Experience using Linux/Unix, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Mac OS

·         Familiarity with deployment and continuous integration technologies

·         Fluency in discussing web standards (HTTP, JSON) and RESTful APIs

·         Excellent code management skills
