Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They’re now looking for a number of Embedded Software Engineers to join their team in Crumlin.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop software for our client’s medical analysers.
Working with internal and external colleagues, you will design, validate, integrate and maintain both new and existing software applications.
You’ll participate in code reviews and testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing and system acceptance testing. Additionally, you’ll provide guidance to colleagues regarding technical tasks.
To be considered, you will need:
- Experience of C and/or C++
- Previous experience of ARM, PIC and/or DSP microcontrollers
- A good understanding of electronic design, covering both analogue and digital circuits
- A degree level qualification at grade 2:1 or above in a software or electrical and electronic related discipline
Highly organised and methodical, as an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll need a meticulous and detailed approach, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with Technosoft products, TCP/IP, Qt, Linux, Keil/IAR, RS232, I2C, CANBus and Altium or other Circuit Design software would be beneficial, but this isn’t essential.
