Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They’re now looking for a Senior / Lead Software Engineer to join their team in Crumlin.

As the Senior / Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be taking part in the development of new and innovative diagnostic solutions for hospital, clinical, research and molecular labs, as well as the food testing forensics, veterinary and life science sectors.
You will join and lead teams of incredible Software Engineers who are passionate about designing amazing solutions to novel problems, automated testing and the refinement of solutions. You will discover that our client’s software teams enjoy the challenge of learning new technologies and working in a varied manner, love dynamic research and development and care about being within an iterative, Agile development team.

Interested? To be considered, you will need:
- Software development experience, with the majority of this being in C#
- Experience at least ONE of the following: WPF, UWP, Silverlight, Xamarin, or Windows forms
Experience of the following is also key:
- Gathering requirements
- Mentoring developers
- UI design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC and MVP
- PostgreSQL Server or a similar relational database
- Unit testing
- Linus Shell Scripting
- Git, CVS or another source control toolset
- All stages of an SDLC
Highly organised and methodical, as a Senior / Lead Software Engineer, you’ll need a meticulous and detailed approach, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
