Our Client is a major employer based in South Dublin. They are looking for an IT Programmer to join their world class team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks in all areas of software development. This will include application architecture, design, development and database optimization.
Responsibilities
- Prototype new solutions
- Collaborate with all the project stakeholders
- Keep up to date with new technology development and implementation
- Integrate with existing client technology solutions and platforms
- Gather requirements from end users
- Adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Independently develop and test applications
Requirements
- Degree level education
- 3-5 years IT experience (post graduate)
- Strong development experience (C#, SQL, XML, JSON, Web Services, HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Java, PHP)
- MS SQL/ My SQL development and tuning
- Strong data profiling abilities
- Knowledge of Web Security standards including LDAP integration
- Experience in mixed operating system environment (Windows and Linux)
- Experience in Systems Integration
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in Data Analytics and Reporting
Desired
- Proven leadership skills and an excellent track record of deliverables
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good presentation and user interface skills
- Strong debugging and problem solving / analytical skills
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Understanding of healthcare environment and protocols including HL7, DICOM would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Meditech and GE health systems would be an advantage
