Xamarin Developer
A leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions and the fastest growing software technology company based in Cork is looking for a Xamarin Developer to join their team.
The Xamarin Developer will work alongside a fun, and highly motivated team of cross functional engineers (Development, QA, DevOps) writing high quality, secure and scalable code.

You as a Xamarin Developer will:
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Work through all aspects of the development life-cycle
• Develop engaging apps to solve problems
• Expand and build on the commercial applications supporting multiple platforms
The requirements for the Xamarin Developer:
• 4+ years of hands-on software analysis and development experience with knowledge and experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent years of professional work experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience with GIT (Pull Requests, Branches, Code Review)
• 1-2 years’ proficient in Xamarin.Forms and/or Xamarin.Android
• 2+ years’ experience with SQLite and SQL Server 2014 or higher
• 3+ years of working as a mobile developer
• 4+ years of working with Visual Studio (2015 or higher preferred)
• 4-6 years’ proficient in C#, with a strong knowledge of their ecosystems
• At least 1 year of experience with .NET Core 1.0 or greater and Entity Framework Core
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Must have worked with at least one MVVM framework preferably MVVM Cross
• Skill for writing reusable libraries and components
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Ability to conduct and participate in peer code reviews
• Experience developing or consuming RESTful web services
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
It is desirable from the Xamarin Developer:
