Rapt Touch Ltd is a leading provider of multi-touch systems and is currently looking for a Software Engineer to support its expanding firmware/software development team at its R&D Labs located in East Point Business Park, Dublin 3.
An experienced or developing Software Engineer, you will have a passion for technology, love to learn and appreciate the significance of testing and quality control.
Initially the new Software Engineer will start on supporting existing regression systems, moving on to the development of more extensive regression testing software and systems in time.
You will work with worldwide teams to develop new touch screen products, specialising in the development of complex algorithms for use on optical systems. This work requires strategic thinking, data extraction/analysis methods and problem solving techniques to drive solutions to a wide range of theoretical and practical problems.
Basic requirements:
A qualification in Electronic Engineering or Software Engineering is required along with a minimum of two years of experience.
Nice to have:
Experience with any of the following will be helpful: Scripting on Linux, Python Software development, knowledge of automated regression test systems, Jenkins, Embedded Software development in C, knowledge of electronic circuits.
