Java Solution Architect required for a leading financial institution based in Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (beside Green Luas stop). The Java Solution Architect will be take a lead role on the design and delivery of core enterprise application migration.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead role on the design and implementation of core enterprise application

·         Lead, drive and deliver long-term strategic and transformational change

·         Lead an Agile Team from a Technical Perspective.

·         Coach and Mentor more junior team members.

·         Adapt and implement Agile orientated architecture and delivery methodologies.

Requirements

·         10+ years Java/JEE development experience

·         4+ years in a design / lead role of an enterprise application

·         Ability to write technical documents to a high standard

·         Experience of the following technologies a must: Microservice Architecture, Web Services, API Gateways, Application Servers (preferably WebSphere Liberty)

·         Competence in designing and executing unit, integration and performance tests.
