ECommerce Migration PM:
As a member of the mission critical Evolution program, the eCommerce Migration PM is responsible for the migration of our existing customers to our new, cutting edge cloud-based eCommerce platform.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Program Management, Product Management and CRM teams to define an appropriate retailer migration strategy;
• Work collaboratively with Development, Product, QA and Sales teams to ensure we provide the best migration experience to our customers;
• Agreeing timescales, deliverables and resources with internal teams AND customers to ensure successful implementation of migration projects;
• Create and manage a detailed communications strategy;
• Conduct detailed technical analysis workshops and producing relevant outputs and documents as required
• Develop detailed plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans;
• Managing all phases of project delivery by milestone from Preparation to Execution and ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout;
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, at a senior level and report on project status;
• Conduct risk assessment and management to minimize impact to quality, timing, scope or budget of a project;
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of their relevant tasks and outputs.
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical or Business-related discipline;
• PMP or Prince2 certified a must, Agile/SCRUM experience an advantage;
• Strong planning ability, capability to elicit project requirements on an on-going basis;
• Extensive experience in leading long, complex platform migration projects;
• Ability to manage multiple migration projects at once;
• Customer focused with a strong commercial acumen;
• An ability to do hands analysis and design as required;
• Solid understanding of eCommerce, technical architectures, data schemas, web and cloud services;
• Experience in eCommerce and Logistics;
• Strong oral, written and presentations skills for all levels of audience;
• May require some travel to client sites.
