Software Development Manager

The Role:

One of our clients, based on Ireland’s West Coast, is looking for a Software Development Manager to join their growing team of engineers developing software solutions for in-house and customer-facing purposes. You’ll be working in an Agile environment running several teams of engineers working on multi-disciplinary software solutions. You’ll be an expert in the entire SDLC and have keen abilities to manage people and get the best from them.

The Responsibilities:

• You must be eligible to live and work in Ireland on application
• You’ll be an expert at fostering the right culture to get the most from teams of software engineers
• You’ll be open to new ideas and new methodologies and skilfully and quickly evaluate their effectiveness or otherwise
• You’ll have several years of experience running large teams
• You’ll be experienced with Scrum, Kanban and Agile methodology in general
• You’ll have a keen focus on software quality
• You’ll be educated to a degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
