TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin West, is seeking applications for a Technical Service Delivery Manager to join their team.
Our client is a fast-growing and dynamic IT Service provider who have a fantastic reputation in their sector and are growing and developing their business year on year. They are currently hiring for this key opportunity within their business to grow/shape their organisation in the longer term. This is a customer-centric role, requiring hands-on capability and an individual who is familiar with process and quality and who has strong leadership skills.
The role is multi-faceted with a number of key areas of responsibility.
*Operational Management - managing the Managed Services and Professional Services team members and instilling a high-performance/best practive culture within these teams. This aspect will also monitor the effectiveness of their SLAs/KPIs, identifying skills gaps and hiring as appropriate and ensuring the teams are trained and developed to do their job effectively.
*Service Delivery - you will be required to drive a continual service improvement programme, insuring quality of service delivery to clients/customers and act as an escalation point/advisory for senior team members. You will be managing customer relationships and ensuring procedures and practives are defined, documented and consistently applied. You will be applying the best of ITIL practices and ensuring the Customer is supported in every aspect.
*Business Management - you will be involved in ensuring optimal billable utilisation of team members and maximising profitability through efficient service delivery. P& L Resposibility will be key as well as participating in ongoing pricing strategy and optimisation. Keeping abreast of new product developments in Managed Services, Cloud, Security. Providing tactical and strategic input to the business.
*You will have at least 3-5 years experience in a similar level role with overall 8-10+ years in an IT company.
*You should be technically competent - ideally having come from an IT Engineering background and familiar with the various technology platforms, products, services available.
*Experience in Service Delivery/Customer Centric roles is essential.
*Previous P&L Responsibility
*Have previous experience in a service-based industry/P&L for a service based industry
*ITIL and Project Management certification
*People Management Skills (8+ people)
*Experience of running quality programs/best practice programmes
*Knowledge of CRM systems, remote management/monitoring tools
This role offers a very real opportunity to progress to Director level within the organisation and to contribute to the overall direction/success of the company.
Candidates should currently hold EU citizenship or valid current stamp 4 or Critical skills permit. The role will not support an application process for work permits at this time due to time constraints. Candidates shoudl also be available for face to face interviews in Dublin.
