Role Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for coordination of the IT & Telecom engineers;
• Communication with customers for site visits, project installations, and site audits;
• Create and oversee schedules for team members ensuring that site visits and project installations are completed in a timely manner;
• Managing the helpdesk team and assisting with queries where necessary;
• Managing the engineering team;
• Ensure projects have correct and complete hardware and software for installations;
• Planning and scheduling of maintenance visits, installations and audits;
• Advice on procurement of new hardware and software;
• Initiate and coordinate projects;
• Ensuring that tickets are completed by engineers and helpdesk in an efficient and satisfactory manner;
• For larger clients, meet with company director over issues and resolution and scheduling of same;
• Provision of feedback to senior management of engineers and customer feedback;
• Drive continual improvement that can guide the company to improving its position among the top IT and telecom’s companies in Ireland;
• Provide input on staffing requirements for the company;

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Seeking a candidate ideally with over 5 years IT experience and possibly in a similar role;
• Ideal candidate will have the ability to handle staff in a pressurised environment, be very organised with strong communication skills and an efficient problem solver.
