IT Helpdesk Support / Administrator
Location: Dublin 4.
Our Client has requested that all applicants should hold citizenship of EU or EEA member state OR have permission to reside/work in the Republic of Ireland without the need to obtain, renew or change the status of a Critical Skills Permit/VISA.
ROLE:
• Administer the help desk facility for all IT users in the company
• Assist with IT projects
• Ensuring proper back up is taken and stored
• Support for printers and plotters
• Administration of LAN / WAN 1200 PC’s, running windows 7 /10
• Troubleshoot hardware and software faults on the network
• Other Ad hoc duties that may arise
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Change Requests and Problem-resolution
• Windows 2012/2008/7 installation, configuration and problem-resolution
• Remote Access VPN Installation, configuration and problem-resolution
• Administration and telephone configuration
• Security Anti-Virus response
• Operating System image builds using Clonezilla
• Data Backup management of Windows/Exchange
• NT/Exchange Account and Profile configuration/maintenance
• Active Directory administration
• Hardware and manual Software installation, configuration and problem-resolution
REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant third level qualification essential
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience post qualification desirable
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential
• Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
• Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience
