My client is about to run a 10 version upgrade on its current SAP MES system, and they have over 200 varying pieces of other equipment, systems etc currently integrated with it. They need a hands on trouble shooter who has been through this rodeo so often they designed the damn tshirt.

This upgrade will require changes in machine communication protocol as it proceeds. You will be responsible for identifying the maching interface elements that will require change, identify and define the change they will need, drytest the changes and then build the new interface before deploying and monitoring. There are over 200 in place at the moment, direct connections, PLC connections and custom connections between the MEs and all the other systems.

Your experience in this type of project doesnt have to be in SAP MES specifically, but of course that would be an advantage.

As this is a contract position, there is no work sponsorship possible.
